Kimberly Louise Ogren of Burke was recently inducted into the National Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society for first year students at Dickinson College. Ogren, a rising sophomore majoring in environmental studies and policy management, is the daughter of Tedd and Cindy Ogren of Burke. She is also a Lake Braddock Secondary alumna.

Amy Kate FitzHenry of Burke recently graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in government from the College of William and Mary.

Kate Luarasi of Burke recently graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in international relations from Boston University.

Diana C. DePaolis of Fairfax Station recently graduated summa cum laude with an English degree from Northeastern University in Boston. A 2000 graduate from Lake Braddock Secondary, DePaolis is now a junior high school English teacher in the Boston public schools.

To qualify, students must attempt at least 12 credit hours graded on the A-F option and earn a 3.4 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Amanda L. Thomas of Fairfax Station was named to the president's list for the spring 2005 semester at University of Mary Washington. To qualify, students had to be full time and earn a perfect 4.0 grade point average. Thomas is a 2005 graduate.

The following students of Burke were named to the dean's list for the spring 2005 semester at University of Mary Washington: Elizabeth M. Greenlees, Robyn M. Haaland and Nathanael E. Hathaway. To qualify, students had to be full time and earn at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Catherine Maria Muehleib of Fairfax Station was recently named to the dean's list for the spring 2005 semester at Wake Forest University. To qualify, students must attain at least a 3.0 grade point average. Muehleib is a sophomore studio art major.

Kristi Wilson of Fairfax Station was recently named to the dean's list for the 2005 spring semester at Purdue University. To qualify, students must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average. Wilson, a 2002 graduate of James W. Robinson Secondary School, is the daughter of Bob and Joan Wilson.

Anna M. Maternick of Fairfax Station recently graduated with honors from Virginia Commonwealth University with a bachelor of arts degree in art history. She is the daughter of Ray and Connie Maternick.

Micaela Donnelly of Burke was named to the dean's list for the spring 2005 semester at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. To be eligible, students must be ranked in the top 10 percent of their class or earn a 3.75 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
