Second-graders from Forestdale Elementary had a chance to walk down the red carpet Thursday, April 2, at the Waterford in Springfield as part of the Dining with the Stars project. The students studied a celebrity and wrote a biography on that person, which they read at the culminating event for their classmates and their sixth-grade reading buddies. The project was designed to teach the children life lessons on etiquette, dressing for success and for a fun way of learning.
