Friday/Nov. 6 Breadsmith Fund-raiser. 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. In preparation for the grand opening of Breadsmith at 7937 Tuckerman Lane in the Cabin Mall Shopping Center in Potomac, the bakery specializing in hand-crafted artisan breads baked fresh from scratch daily will hold a sneak preview and open house to "raise dough" for Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS). The event will include behind-the-scenes tours, demonstrations on kneading and shaping dough, and free samples of Breadsmith's breads, muffins and sweets.
