<bt>Celestine E. Lowe, 77, of Reston died on April 14. Lowe was born on Nov. 12, 1924, to Benjamin and Edith Turner Calhoun. She is survived by her brother John Ted; sister Charlie Ira and her daughters Gwen Edith and Beverly; her children Jack Benjamin, Rita Elizabeth Griffin-Hall of Leesburg, and Gregory Devahn Calhoun of St. Petersburg, Fla.; her grandchildren Derrek Hollands, Desire Celestine, Yabya Umbad, Hassan Jawkir, Zahir Caloun, Bahija Celestine, Waynes Desiree, Tahira Habibi, Jacqua, and Javona; 10 great grandchildren and a host of other extended family members.
Funeral services took place on Thursday, April 18 at Heritage Fellowship United Church of Christ. Pallbearers for the private interment were: Gregory D. Calhoun, Zahir Calhoun, Arnold Pluess, Adam Pluess, Dominic Griffin and Ernest Gibson. Arrangements were by Lyles Funeral Service of Northern Virginia.
