The Wachovia Bank Robbed

The Alexandria Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are continuing their investigation into the bank robbery that occurred last week at the Wachovia Bank located at 3624 King Street in Alexandria.

The suspect entered the bank Friday at about 1:30 p.m., approached the teller counter, implied he had a weapon and passed a note to the teller. The suspect demanded money and the employee complied. The suspect then fled from the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 25-30 years old, five-feet ten-inches tall, 200 pounds, and was wearing a black baseball cap and a grey t-shirt.
