Epiphany United Methodist Church, 1014 Country Club Drive, Vienna, will host its annual summer Vacation Bible School (VBS), July 22-26, 9:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m., for children age 3 through grade four. Children can join the Bug Safari and learn about God¹s word with this Bible-based VBS. An adult Bible study will be offered that same week led by the pastor, the Rev. David Lough, from 11 a.m.-noon. A $1,000 grand prize is being offered in a special religious poetry contest sponsored by the New Jersey Rainbow Poets, free to anyone who has ever written a poem. There are 50 prizes in all totaling almost $5,000. The deadline for entering in June 30.

The Great Falls Ecumenical Council is holding its annual July 4 blood drive in memory of the 126 American heroes who lost their lives at the Pentagon on Sept. 11.
