<cal2>44000 block Gala Circle, Ashburn - Unknown subject(s) removed a lawn ornament from the front yard of a residence. Value: $200.

43100 block Shadow Terrace, Leesburg - Unknown subject(s) entered a home under construction and removed a microwave and a dishwasher. Value: $810.

100 block Seneca Chase Court, Sterling - Unknown subject(s) broke the rear passenger door quarter panel glass window and removed a car CD stereo, a label maker and the owners manual for the vehicle. Value: $750.

21900 block Greentree Terrace, Sterling - Unknown subject(s) entered an unsecured door of a home and removed a black binder containing 300 basketball cards and 600 football cards. Value: $903.

45600 block Paddington Square, Sterling - Unknown subject(s) entered a vehicle and removed a CD car stereo, a watch and various CD's. Value: $975.

100 block Nalls Court, Sterling - Unknown subject(s) entered a vehicle and removed a car CD stereo. Value: $225.

<cal2>400 block W. Laurel Ave., Sterling - Unknown subject(s) broke the rear window of a vehicle. Value: $500.

<cal1> Vehicle Tampering

<cal2>45500 block Dulles Eastern Plaza - Unknown subject(s) drove a vehicle over grass. Value: $500.

45600 block Whitcomb Square, Sterling - Unknown subject(s) broke a window on a vehicle. Value: $400.

70 block Trail Court, Sterling - Unknown subject(s) slashed several tires on several different vehicles. Value: $375.

21800 block Bramble Court, Sterling - Unknown subject(s) removed broke a car window and removed a stereo amplifier and speakers. Value: $400.

<cal1>Stabbing

<cal2>43300 block Junction Plaza, Ashburn - At 10:56 p.m. July 21 the Sheriff's deputies responded to the report of a stabbing. Two victims were stabbed at a carnival located on the 45100 block of Colombia Place in Sterling. The 17-year-old victim of Reston had life-threatening wounds but is in stable condition and was taken to Washington Hospital Center. The other victim, 18-year-old Nakia May Couch of Herndon was held overnight at Loudoun Hospital. The incident itself occurred around 10:30 p.m. when a group of around 15 Hispanic males and the victims got into an argument in the parking lot next to the carnival.

<cal1>Mob Assault

<cal2>East Broad Way, Lovettsville - At around 8 p.m. on July 18 the Sheriff's deputies responded to the report of an assault. An adult male was assaulted by a group of around 10-15 juveniles, who used sticks as weapons. The victim was taken to Loudoun County Hospital and treated, the assault is believed to be caused by an earlier altercation between the man and a juvenile.

<cal1>Burglary

<cal2>140 block of Magnolia Road, Sterling - At 10:19 p.m. on July 14 the Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a burglary in progress. At 10:17 p.m. a male resident of the home being burglarized entered the home and heard noises, he went to a neighbor's house and called the police. At 10:23 p.m. Sheriff's deputies covered the house and sent the K-9 unit into the home. DFC. Ringo and his handler Deputy Brain Sayre followed the scent to the surrounding woods, where Deputy Tod Thompson arrested the burglar. The suspect, Gerald Michael Sassano, 36, was charged with burglary and grand larceny.
