<lst>The following is a list of events taking place at the Loudoun County Public Libraries.

<cal1>All Branches

<cal2>The Rainbow Company, an interactive children's theatre, will perform at Loudoun County Public Library branches on the following dates and times: Eastern Loudoun Regional Library on Aug. 5 at 2:30 p.m., Lovettsville Library Aug. 6 at 7 p.m., Middleburg Library on Aug. 6 at 11 a.m., Purcellville Library on Aug. 7 at 11 a.m., Rust Library on Aug. 6 at 2 p.m., and Sterling Library on Aug. 7 at 3 p.m., and the Ashburn Farm Association Building on Aug. 5 at 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tickets are required and are available for pick-up one half-hour before the shows are to begin.

<cal1>Eastern Loudoun Library

<cal2>One-on-One Internet training at Eastern Loudoun Regional Library, Sundays from 7-8:30 p.m. and Tuesdays from 2-4 p.m., and at Purcellville Library (call 540-338-7235 for dates). Summer book discussions at Eastern Loudoun Regional Library, 21080 Whitfield Place, Sterling (Cascades). "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" by John Berendt will be discussed on Monday, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m. and on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 10:30 a.m. Members discuss the book they have read during the previous month and get a copy of the book selected for the next month’s discussion. Writing Workshop with Clark Hansbarger. Rust Library, 380 Old Waterford Road, Leesburg. Thursday, Aug. 22 and 29, 7-9 p.m. Participants will explore the symbiotic relationship between conflict, character and setting, seeking ways to enhance those elements in their own writing. Participants should come with a sample of work, ready to share and ready to write. Clark Hansbarger is a recipient of a PEN syndicate Fiction Award, a fellowship in creative writing from the National Endowment for the Arts and writing grants from the Virginia Commission for the Arts and UVA's Center for the Liberal Arts. His fiction has appeared in numerous publications. He teaches in Clark County's International Baccalaureate program for high school seniors. Maximum class size is 20. Register by Aug. 12.
