With unseasonably warm weather, it seems that spring fever is already in bloom at Churchill High School. This is making the students greatly anticipate March 28, the day spring break begins. With no snow days or school delays, and hardly any days off since the start of this quarter, students claim a break is needed.
"After working so hard since midterms, I am more than ready for a break. I'll be and going to Florida and that should definitely help calm me down," said sophomore Kara Genderson.
There are two special trips that many Churchill seniors attend; one being a trip to Cancun, Mexico, and the other to Nassau, Bahamas.
"I have waited all year for this trip, and I know it will be awesome to have some time on my own with my friends. It will really be a great experience to go out of the country, and I can't wait," said senior Ryan Soboleski.
For Churchill, these trips have become a ritual. When the seniors return, they know the end of their high school careers are close and will be climaxed by prom and graduation.
