Fairfax County police are still investigating the murder of 60-year-old Leslie E. Beesley, who was found slain in his Kingland Road home on March 7. The homicide is the county’s first this year.
Colleaguyes became concerned when Beesley did not check in with the staff at the nearby Thrift Store Center and went to his home at around 2:30 p.m. last Thursday. They knocked and when they received no response, tried the door, which was open. They entered the home and found Beesley’s body in a bedroom.
Police said that Beesley died from severe trauma to his upper body. They believe that Beesley knew his killer but do not have a suspect.
