The Accotink Unitarian-Universalist Church is sponsoring monthly day trips to Washington, D.C. On Thursday, April 18, the trip will include the U.S. National Arboretum (with a tram ride of 443 acres) and docent-led tours of the Basilica of the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and the Franciscan Monastery. The Jewish Council for the Aging (JCA) announces its second annual Seders for Seniors project. The JCA program makes it possible for seniors to attend a communal Seder at a synagogue or community center close to their homes.
