Residents living in and around Springfield can be screened to reduce their risk of having a stroke. Life Line Screening will be at Springfield American Legion Post 176 on Nov. 13. The site is located at 6520 Amhurst Ave. in Springfield. Appointments will begin at 10 a.m. Each screening requires 10 minutes or less to complete and costs $40. A complete vascular screening package is $99 and includes the Carotid/Stroke Artery screening, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm and Ankle Brachial Index screenings.
