George M. Autry has graduated from the Army ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) National Advanced Leadership Camp at Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Wash. Autry has been commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army after completing the Army ROTC program and graduating with a bachelor's degree from the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Va. He is the son of George M. and Meralyn P. Autry of Fair Crest Court in Fairfax. Autry is a 1998 graduate of Brookville High School, Lynchburg, Va.

Air Force Lt. Col. John B. Wissler has assumed command of Detachment 3 at the Air Force Research Laboratory (A.F.R.L.), Hanscom Air Force Base, Bedford, Mass., in a ceremony presided over by Maj. Gen. Paul Nielsen, commander of the A.F.R.L.
Wissler is the son of Elizabeth A. Wissler of Madera, Calif. His father and mother-in-law, Anthony D. and Mary Jo L. Sesow, reside on Barnbury Court in Fairfax. Wissler received a master's degree in 1985 from the Air Force Institute of Technology, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio, and earned his doctorate in 1992 from the California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, Calif.
Marine Corps Pvt. Daniel M. Ribert, son of Nelly J. Ribert of 4050 Grays Pointe Court in Fairfax, recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. Ribert is a 2002 graduate of Trinity Christian High School of Fairfax and joined the Marine Corps in July 2002.
