Trammell Crow Residential (TCR) is the winner of Delta Associates’ Mid-Atlantic Suburban Smart Growth Developer of the Year Award for three new transit-friendly Northern Virginia rental communities totaling 1,250 units. The award, part of Awards for Excellence in the Mid-Atlantic Apartment Industry, includes recognition for Alexan Reston Town Center, with 698 units at Reston Town Center. The project provides pedestrian access to offices, shops and entertainment. Bus service is provided from the community’s front door to West Falls Church Metro, and a future rail station is within walking distance.
Long and Foster Realtors announced its top sales associates for September. Reston: Joyce Shuemake was the top producer and the top seller with a sales volume of $2,428,825; Pat Flynn was top lister; and Boofie O’Gorman was the agent with the most new listings. Reston/North Hills: Karen Swanson was top producer and top lister with a sales volume of $3,779,700; and Debbie Gill was top lister and the agent with the most new listings.
