Lisa Beamer, whose husband Todd has become the posthumous hero of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, visited McLean least week to autograph copies of her book, “Let’s Roll,” at Books A Million on Chain Bridge Road.
Beamer’s words, “Let’s Roll,” were captured by a cell phone as he and other passengers on United Airlines Flight 93 formulated a plan to foil the terrorists that were on board.
The plane crashed near Shanksville, Pa., killing everyone on board.
The book benefits the Todd M. Beamer foundation, which will provide services for troubled children.
