Reader's Theater-A Chance to Act." For children 8 to 12. This program will be offered Wednesdays at 4 p.m. through Dec. 11. Children will read from a script and perform in a non-threatening atmosphere. One-on-One Internet training at Eastern Loudoun Regional Library, Sundays from 7-8:30 p.m. and Tuesdays from 2-4 p.m., and at Purcellville Library (call 540-338-7235 for dates). Homework Helpers. 7-830 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26 and Wednesday, Oct. 9. The Eastern Loudoun Regional Library reference staff will present "Homework Helpers: Library Resources for Homework Help." <cal2>Staff Art Show. Through September featuring the work of staff artists Linda Holtslander, Nancy Rupertus, Tia Maggio, Lauren O'Connor, Pam Forbes, Holly Peterson and Nicki Lynch.

Detection! A Club for Mystery Lovers. On Wednesday, Oct. 2 and Nov. 6 from 7-8 p.m., the Rust Library will hold its mystery club Detection! A Club for Mystery Lovers. Have you met Jigsaw Jones? Are Cam, Encyclopedia, Nancy and favorite detective characters? If your like mysteries, join us at the "scene of the crime" for book talks, puzzles, games and more. Advance registration is required. The American Girl Club will meet at the Rust Library on Thursday afternoons this fall (Oct. 3, and Nov. 14). It is for ages six to 10, this club is a monthly gathering of American Girl fans, featuring book discussions and fun activities. Advance registration required. Book It! On Wednesday evenings this fall — Oct. 23 and Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. — the Rust Library will host its book discussion group for children ages 9-10. The reading list is as follows: Oct. 23, "A Long Way from Chicago" by Richard Peck; and Nov. 20, "The Westing Game," by Ellen Raskin. Advance registration is required. Fall adult book discussion group. The following books have been selected for this fall's adult book discussion group: "Years of Wonder" by Geraldine Brooks on Monday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. and Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 10 a.m.; and "Wish You Well" by David Baldacci on Monday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. and Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 10 a.m. There will be a special book discussion group with the children's book discussion group "Book It" on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. The book being discussed is "A Long Way from Chicago" by Richard Peck. Afternoon Adventures Kids Club takes place every Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Sterling Library, 120 Enterprise St., Sterling. Activities include stories, songs and games. The program is for children ages 6-9. Pre-registration is required the day before each program.
