The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors is seeking citizens to fill vacancies on the following county advisory boards, commissions, and committees:
* Affordable Dwelling Unit Advisory Board. There is a vacancy for an architect representative to complete a four-year term expiring Sept. 30, 2005.
* Agricultural District Advisory Committee. There are vacancies for two farmer representatives to complete four-year terms expiring Dec. 31, 2003.
* Building Code and Appeals Board. Applications are being accepted for an at-large representative with a background in the building industry to serve a four-year term.
* Commission on Women. There is a vacancy for a Sterling District representative to complete a term expiring Dec. 31, 2003.
* Commission on Youth. There is a vacancy for a Sterling District representative for a four-year term.
* Community Services Board. There are vacancies for two at-large representatives to serve terms expiring June 30, 2006.
* Commuter Bus Advisory Board. There are vacancies for representatives from the Dulles and Sterling Districts to complete terms expiring Dec. 31, 2003. The representatives must be riders of the Loudoun County Commuter Bus Service or commuters.
* Disability Services Board. There are vacancies for several three-year terms, including a business or consumer representative; an individual who has a disability; and a person with a family member who is disabled.
* Fire-Rescue Commission. The terms of three members expire July 31, 2003. Nominations are being accepted for individuals to serve terms expiring July 31, 2005. Commission members must be fire or emergency medical services volunteers in good standing, with no more than one commissioner from any volunteer company.
* Northern Virginia Manpower Consortium Workforce Investment Board. There is a vacancy for a business representative to complete a four-year term expiring June 30, 2004.
* Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. There is a vacancy for a Dulles District representative to complete a four-year term expiring December 31, 2003.
* Purchase of Development Rights Board. There is a vacancy for a member with a legal background.
* Rural Economic Development Council. There is a vacancy for an at-large representative to complete a two-year term expiring Dec. 31, 2004.
