Karen Velez, Community Holiday Coalition Coordinator, and Uma Murillo, Tobacco Prevention Specialist for the Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services, are the guests on a new edition of "Inside Loudoun County" airing at 7 and 9 p.m. on Friday and Monday nights through December.
Velez discusses the 2003 Holiday Coalition, a program that gives donated toys, gifts, food and clothing to needy families during the holidays.
Murillo talks about the role she plays in preventing tobacco usage among children, noting that the average age for starting tobacco use in Virginia is 12 years old.
