Greenbriar Man Charged With Indecent Liberties

Fairfax County police arrested a 51-year-old Greenbriar man, last week, charging him with four counts of indecent liberties with a minor. He is Jerome Anthony Fleming of 13205 Pressmont Lane in Chantilly — not far from Greenbriar West Elementary.

According to police, on Jan. 10, a man indecently exposed himself to two Clifton girls, 7 and 4, in the Target store in the Fair Lakes Shopping Center. That incident was not reported to police and, last Wednesday, Jan. 29, around 9 p.m., police say the man made a repeat appearance.

This time, the same two girls — sisters — were with their mother in the Wal-Mart store in that shopping center when the 7-year-old reportedly recognized the man from the prior incident. She told her mother and, say police, when the woman turned to look at the man, she, too, saw him exposing his genitals.

Officers went to the store and confronted the man; police believe he is Fleming, and they charged him accordingly. They took him to the Adult Detention Center, and he was released two days later, on Friday, Jan. 31, on $10,000 bond. He has a March 3 court date. Indecent liberties with a minor is punishable by five years in prison.
