New World Unity Activity Center will be offering life-enhancing classes beginning in January. “4T-Tithing your Time, Talent and Treasure for the Fullness of Life” is a 12-week experience designed to teach the foundation for change through prayer. It meets Sundays, Jan. 12-March 30, at 2 p.m.

“Life of a Prayer-Part A” is a class that looks at how to know God, each other and the relationship to the whole. The class will meet on Wednesdays, beginning Jan. 15, at 10 a.m.

Louise Hay will discuss “You Can Heal Your Life” on Wednesdays starting Jan. 15, at 8 p.m.

Congregation Etz Hayim (formerly Arlington-Fairfax Jewish Congregation), 2920 Arlington Blvd., invites the public to its next "Tot Shabbat" on Saturday, Feb. 1, 11 a.m.-12 p.m. "Tot Shabbat" is a free monthly program planned to engage preschool through kindergarten children and their parents in an age-appropriate Shabbat service. The Celebration Singers, a costumed and choreographed, all-volunteer, women's show chorus, invites singers to join them. The group sings a variety of music in three voice ranges — soprano, second soprano and alto.
