Kid Save Holds Picnic for Visiting Orphans

Kid Save, a Washington, D.C., advocacy organization funded by grants and private donations, is hosting 20 orphans from Russia, Kazakhstan, and Columbia, South America, for six week summer visits with local families.

Under a Kid Save program known as Summer Miracles, the children live with local families, attend summer camp, and meet potential adoptive families.

“We have a 95.4 percent success rate with adoption,” said Lauren Ng, an intern at Kid Save in Washington. “Almost all of our children wind up finding homes.”

On July 19, Kid Save brought 20 children and their summer families to Great Falls National Park for a picnic.
