The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors is seeking citizens to fill vacancies on the following county advisory boards, commissions, and committees:
* Affordable Dwelling Unit Advisory Board: There is a vacancy for an architect representative to complete a four-year term expiring September
30, 2005.
* Agricultural District Advisory Committee: There are vacancies for two farmer representatives to complete four-year terms expiring Dec. 31, 2003.
* Animal Advisory Committee: There is a vacancy for a Broad Run District representative to complete a four-year term expiring Dec. 31, 2003.
* Building Code and Appeals Board: Applications are being accepted for an at-large representative with a background in the building industry to serve a four-year term.
* Commission on Women: There is a vacancy for a Sterling District representative to complete a term expiring Dec. 31, 2003.
* Commission on Youth: There is a vacancy for a Sterling District representative for a four-year term.
* Community Services Board: The terms of five at-large representatives expire on June 30 2003, while a vacancy exists for a three-year term expiring June 30, 2005.
* Commuter Bus Advisory Board: There is a vacancy for a Dulles District representative to complete a term expiring Dec. 31, 2003. This representative must be a rider of the Loudoun County Commuter Bus Service or a commuter.
* Disability Services Board: There are vacancies for several three-year terms, including a business or consumer representative; an individual who has a disability; and a person with a family member who is disabled.
* Library Board of Trustees: Nominations are in order for a Chairman's representative and a Dulles District representative to serve four-year
terms expiring June 30, 2007.
* Northern Virginia Manpower Consortium Workforce Investment Board: There is a vacancy for a business representative to complete a four-year term expiring June 30, 2004.
* Parks and Recreation Advisory Board: There is a vacancy for a Dulles District representative to complete a four-year term expiring December
* Purchase of Development Rights Board: There is a vacancy for a member with a legal background.
