Jessica D. Hensle of Fairfax Station is one of 37 students at Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Va., named to the college's president's list for the fall semester of the 2002-03 academic year. Hensle is a sophomore. The president's list recognizes outstanding academic achievement by those who are full-time students and attain a perfect 4.0 grade-point average.
Alexandra Del Vecchio of Fairfax Station achieved the president's list last fall at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, S.C. To qualify, a student must earn a 4.0 grade average.
Melissa DeVries of Burke, daughter of David and Kathleen DeVries, is on the dean's list at Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, Mich. She is a sophomore majoring in social work. To attain the list a student must receive at least 3.5 grade point average.
