Although the day was damp and the skies were overcast, hardy shoppers made it out last Tuesday to the opening of the Fairfax Farmers Market at Van Dyck Park. The market is open now until Oct. 28, every Tuesday from 8 a.m.-noon. The market is located at Van Dyck Park, 3730 Old Lee Highway, Fairfax.
