Westfield High School Guitar Program announces its holiday program:

* Nov. 16 from 6-6:30 p.m. — Hecht's Stage at the Dulles Town Center;

* Nov. 21 — Shenandoah University (private concert);

* Dec. 4 — Holiday Extravaganza at Westfield High School with Westfield Brass and Clarinet Choir. Free;

* Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. — Tysons Corner Mall Holiday Stage;

* Dec. 18 and 19 at 10 a.m. — Westfield High for Theater Holiday Show;

* Dec. 19 at 3 p.m. — Hecht's Stage at Dulles Town Center.

The Westfield Guitar Boosters are sponsoring their second annual bake sale at the Stone Road Giant this Saturday, Nov. 15 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Visit the table after you finish your grocery shopping to buy some baked goods and support a growing program.

The Westfield Art Department is selling White House ornaments again this year as a major fund-raiser. Ornaments are $17 and all proceeds will be used to buy supplies for the Westfield High School's art department. Call 703-488-6577 to place an order. Quantities are limited.

Paul VI Catholic High School Players present the 1936 Kaufman and Hart comedy "You Can't Take It With You" on Nov. 14, 15 and 16, Friday, Saturday at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday at 2:30 p.m., in the Heet Auditorium of the School at 10675 Lee Highway in Fairfax. <lst>Chantilly High School will offer musical groups to entertain at local holiday parties as a fund-raiser. Small groups of about eight carolers will be available to perform. The money will be used to offset the cost of their music trips. Instead of a set fee, they are asking for a donation to Chantilly Music Boosters. Chantilly High's Drama Department presents the rollicking play, "Guys and Dolls" — about love and luck in 1948-50 New York — Wednesday-Saturday, Nov. 12-15, at 7 p.m., in the school auditorium. Tickets are $8; call 703-222-8182.

Centreville High will present "The Odd Couple," Thursday-Sunday, Nov. 13-16, in the school theater. An all-male cast will perform Nov. 13 and 15, at 7:30 p.m. each night, and Nov. 16 at 3 p.m. An all-female cast will perform Nov. 14 and 16 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 15 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $6 at the door.

Westfield High presents its Cappies play, "Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead," Friday-Saturday, Nov. 14-15, at 8 p.m. each night, and Sunday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m., in the school theater. Students Branson Reese and Derek Rommel are in the title roles. Tickets are $5; call 703-488-6430.

Clifton Children's Academy will be holding an open house for kindergarten and morning and afternoon preschool classes on Sunday, Nov. 16 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is for registration for Winter 2004 and/or Fall 2004. Parents for Autistic Children's Education (PACE), a non-profit parents group, has been working with senior Fairfax County Public Schools staff to develop a proposal for the first charter school in Northern Virginia. A public hearing on the proposal is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 17, at 7 p.m. at Jackson Middle School, 3020 Gallows Road, Falls Church. The Board is to act on the charter during its Nov. 20, meeting. If the charter is approved, The PACE School would initially serve 60 children with autism spectrum disorders beginning in July of 2004.

Chantilly High School Choral Department will hold its annual Fall Concert on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $3 per person. Tag Day receipts will be honored for this concert. For the purchase of tickets or to redeem Tag Day receipts, contact Lynn Traverso at 703-378-6312.

Stone Middle School will present the comedy, "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown," Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 20-22, in the school theater. The Nov. 20 and 22 shows will be at 3:30 p.m., and the Nov. 21 performance will be at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 and are available at Stone during lunchtime or at the door.

Oak Hill Elementary will celebrate its 20th Anniversary in late November. The week will begin with a ground-breaking ceremony and the planting of an oak tree on the school lawn. There will be a contest to name the mascot as well as an acorn estimating contest and the creation of a time capsule. Students will learn about the history of Oak Hill and will participate in many exciting learning and creative opportunities.

The celebration will culminate with an evening reception for current students, parents, faculty and alumni students and faculty on Nov. 21. The Chantilly High School Band Department will present its Fall Concert on Tuesday, Nov. 25 at 7 p.m. Included in the program will be the Concert Band, Symphonic Winds, Percussion Ensemble, Jazz Band and Workshop Jazz Band. Reservations for the concert can be made by calling 703-266-8840. Tickets are $3 and Tag Day receipts may be used.

A newly expanded alumni Web site for graduates of Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) is now available at www.fcps.edu/alumhome.htm, where alumni can find information about upcoming reunions and events. Nearly 50 reunions are listed on the site, with links to individual reunion Web sites for more information. An alumnus or alumna can also add his or her name to elementary, middle, and high school directories by filling out a form with his or her name and e-mail address.
