<lst>Chantilly High School will offer musical groups to entertain at local holiday parties as a fund-raiser. Small groups of about eight carolers will be available to perform. Centreville High will present "The Odd Couple," Thursday-Sunday, Nov. 13-16, in the school theater. Parents for Autistic Children's Education (PACE), a non-profit parents group, has been working with senior Fairfax County Public Schools staff to develop a proposal for the first charter school in Northern Virginia. A public hearing on the proposal is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 17, at 7 p.m. at Jackson Middle School, 3020 Gallows Road, Falls Church. The Board is to act on the charter during its Nov. 20, meeting. If the charter is approved, The PACE School would initially serve 60 children with autism spectrum disorders beginning in July of 2004.

Stone Middle School will present the comedy, "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown," Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 20-22, in the school theater. Oak Hill Elementary will celebrate its 20th Anniversary in late November. The week will begin with a ground-breaking ceremony and the planting of an oak tree on the school lawn. There will be a contest to name the mascot as well as an acorn estimating contest and the creation of a time capsule. Students will learn about the history of Oak Hill and will participate in many exciting learning and creative opportunities.
The celebration will culminate with an evening reception for current students, parents, faculty and alumni students and faculty on Nov. 21. Nearly 50 reunions are listed on the site, with links to individual reunion Web sites for more information. An alumnus or alumna can also add his or her name to elementary, middle, and high school directories by filling out a form with his or her name and e-mail address.
