The following incidents were reported to the Reston District of Fairfax County.
<cal1>GRAFFITI
<lst>12800 block of Reams Station Road. Police are investigating graffiti that was found spray painted on a fence in the Dranesville area on Sunday. The fence, located in the 12800 block of Reams Station Road, is part of a parcel located in Loudoun County but the fence extends into Fairfax County. The graffiti has phrases that are ethnically-biased.
<cal1>CONSTRUCTION ACCIDENT
<lst>11900 block of Doug Brooks Road. A 42-year-old construction worker was killed after being pinned between two 30 ton cement pipes. Robert Eagleman, of 6604 Rowald Road, Capitol Heights, Md. was working on a construction site at 11990 Doug Brooks Road on Nov. 10 at 8:45 a.m. when the accident occurred. Eagleman, along with two other workers, were standing inside a trench waiting for the pipe to be lowered so it could be connected to another pipe in the trench. The pipe shifted as it was lifted by the crane and swung around, pinning Eagleman between the two pipes. He was transported to Columbia Reston Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The other two workers were unharmed.
