Buchanan Partners of Gaithersburg, Md. has broken ground on two speculative office/flex buildings totaling about 113,000 square feet (including mezzanine capacity) at Dulles Trade Center I. The two new buildings, to be completed in March of 2004, are also being sold as flex/office condominiums. Dulles Trade Center I anchors the Route 606 commercial and industrial corridor just west of Washington Dulles International Airport.

Hubert Construction, LLC is the construction manager for Dulles Trade Center I. Morgan Gick & Associates of Falls Church is the project architect and Commercial Group Realty is marketing the buildings. Bank of America provided construction financing; Great Point Investors of Boston, Mass. arranged equity financing.

Renaissance has started presales for 65 luxury townhomes at Eagle Ridge, located within the private gated golf course community of River Creek. About half of the lots, with homes priced from the mid-$750,000s, provide clear year-round views of the Potomac River. Another 23 homes, with prices starting in the mid-$650,000s, offer views of the River Creek golf course. Eagle Ridge represents the third housing product that Renaissance has built within River Creek. Several years ago, Renaissance sold out its 45 single-family detached Estate Homes and 50 Villa Homes.

Prudential Carruthers Realtors Hamilton office announced the top agents for October. Recognition for top sales went to Sue Puleo. Top listings went to Renate Neely, and top producer with the highest settled transactions was Mary Lou Raymond.

The Million-in-a-Month Award was given to Mary Lou Raymond with $1,705,000 in volume; Lindsay Hope with $1,444,000, and Sue Puleo with $1,174,900.

Leesburg office announced for October that Edna Cross was honored for top sales; top listings went to Cecelia Mahan and top producer with highest settled business went to the team of Bill and Trudy Thomas.

Million-in-a-Month Awards were given to Bill and Trudy Thomas with $1,591,680 in volume, and Edna Cross with $1,274,900.
