Reinventing Old Town

Developers offer designs for public review.

Citizens will be able to provide input on three designs on Old Town redevelopment at a public hearing at 7 p.m., on Tuesday, Oct. 14, in City Hall. The three proposals are by Atlantic Realty; the Trammell Crow, Walnut Street Development and J. Donegan team; and the team of Jaguar Development and JBG Rosenfeld.

Each developer finalist needed to illustrate how it would develop the city-owned properties at North Street and at Logan-Sipan, or the post office site. Each proposal also needed to include renovating the facade of the Fairfax City Regional Library.

Citizens may access proposal reports at City Hall and the Virginia Room of the Fairfax City Regional Library. The illustrations shown here can be viewed at City Hall.
