Legacy All Stars has openings remaining on its competitive cheerleading and dance teams, as well as non-competitive cheer and dance classes. Springfield Toastmaster's Club, which has been helping people improve public speaking and leadership skills for 35 years, meets the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 7-9 p.m., at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 8304 Old Keene Mill Road, Springfield. The Celebration Singers, an all-volunteer, 40-voice, three-part harmony choreographed and costumed women's show chorus, invites women interested in singing to join them. Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays and alternate between Heritage Hunt Club in Gainesville from 10:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Springfield United Methodist Church from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Call 703-354-3788.

Springfield Music Club is a local organization that meets September through May on the second Tuesday of the month. Meetings and programs usually take place at Jordan Kitt's Showroom on Gallows Road in Vienna at 10 a.m. The 30 minute business meeting is open to members and programs which follow the meetings are open to all interested. Programs range from opera to baroque trios to member recitals. The club also offers workshops for music teachers. The club is made up of over 150 members who are professional music teachers, performers and music lovers. Mothers & More of Northern Virginia is a support organization for women who have altered their career path to care for their young children at home. MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers). Join other mothers with children ages birth through kindergarten who desire to be the best moms they can be. Burke Rotary Club has existed since June 1984, and meets each Tuesday, at 7:30 a.m., for breakfast. For most of its existence it met at Hopsfrog Restaurant (formerly Fritters), but for the past two years it has found its home at Brion’s Grille across from George Mason University in the University Mall.
