Visitors to Nature Fest Sunday spent the afternoon on a "treasure hunt." Everyone entering Runnymede Park Sunday was given a "treasure" book and map outlining the 14 nature stations spread throughout the park. At each stop, the visitor received a stamp and once all 14 were collected, a reward cookie.
The stations ranged from honey bees and bats, to snakes and worms, to archaeology and a butterfly release program. All of the exhibits featured hands-on activities or live animals.
The event also included face painting, arts and crafts and various displays.
