Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Robert J. Rollick, son of Patricia and Ronald Rollick of Springfield, recently departed for a six-month deployment while assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise, home based in Norfolk, Va. Rollick is one of more than 6,500 Sailors and Marines aboard the ships of the USS Enterprise carrier battle group. Rollick is a 1978 graduate of West Springfield High School and joined the Navy in January 1985.
Coast Guard Seaman John J. Hannon, son of Barbara R. and John J. Hannon of Springfield, recently graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Recruit Training Center in Cape May, N. J. Hannon is a 2001 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School.
