The Herndon Town Council honored LINK Tuesday, April 13, for its "outstanding service and invaluable contributions to the Herndon community." Members of the LINK Board of Directors accept a copy of the resolution and are flanked by Mayor Richard Thoesen and Councilman John De Noyer. The all-volunteer, emergency-support organization has been serving Northern Virginia since 1972 and is made up of 15-member churches in Herndon, Sterling and Ashburn.
