<sh>Dog Bites Construction Worker

<bt>According to a Fairfax County release, an unleashed dog bit a construction worker on Tuesday, July 20. At 12:45 p.m., an 8-year-old beagle named Dash was running loose in the 9600 block of Cinnamon Creek Drive in the Vienna area of Fairfax County. The dog entered a neighbor's property where construction men were working. The dog proceeded to take one worker's lunch and then ran toward another worker, biting the middle finger of his left hand. Although the injury was minor, the dog had a history of being unrestricted. Dash's owner, Fatemah Ilkhan, 49, of 9600 block of Cinnamon Creek Drive, was issued two summonses for allowing her dog to run unrestricted. A prior incident occurred on July 15, 2004.
