Robbery Near Fairfax Circle

Two men armed with handguns entered the Arthur Treacher's restaurant at 9528 Lee Highway in the Fairfax area, say Fairfax County Police.

The suspects entered the restaurant on Monday, Nov. 29, at about 10 p.m. A 25-year-old Fairfax man and 31-year-old Vienna woman were working there at the time of the robbery, and no one else was present at the time, said police.

After they entered, the suspects ordered the victims to get on the ground, where their hands and feet were bound. The suspects then took money from the cash register and fled on foot, said police.

A police helicopter and K-9 unit responded but were unable to locate the suspects.

Both suspects were described as wearing all black, including black masks. The first was described as approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, 230 pounds, the second as approximately 6 feet tall with a medium build.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Fairfax County Police at 703-691-2131 or Crimesolvers at 1-800-673-2777. Callers, as always, may remain anonymous.
