The Church of the Good Shepherd hosts an ecumenical "Longest Night Worship Service" on Tuesday, Dec. 21, at 7:30 p.m., at the church, 2351 Hunter Mill Road, Vienna. The service, which takes place on the longest night of the year, acknowledges how this season can seem dark for many. Doug Bursch leads the service. Child care is available on request. St. Luke's United Methodist Church hosts a live nativity on Dec. 24, from 4-6 p.m., at the church, 7628 Leesburg Pike. Free. Vienna Presbyterian Church is starting its third year of Centerpoint, an adult Christian education program. Classes are offered on Sundays, at 6 p.m., and Tuesdays, at 7:30 p.m. The third term is Jan. 9-Feb. 8 and fourth term is Feb. 13-March 15.
