StagePlay!, a dramatic arts program for children ages 3-14 is now accepting registrations for its winter session.  Classes run Mondays, 5- to 9-year-olds, Fridays, 3- to 5-year-olds and Saturdays, 10- to 14-year-olds. The Monday and Saturday classes incorporate musical theatre, as well as dramatic arts training, theatre games and improvisations. Up Where We Belong Family Ministry will hold its Northern Virginia's Super Church event, the third Sunday of every month starting at 10:40 a.m., at Mount Vernon High School's main auditorium. Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church at 2001 Sherwood Hall Lane will have a “Blue Christmas” service on Dec. 22 at 7:30 p.m. This service is for those who are experiencing loss or sadness during the holidays and will feature mediations, prayer, Scripture readings and candle lighting.
