The following incidents were reported to the Franconia district station of the Fairfax County Police Department.
<cal1>ROBBERY
<cal2>6500 block of Springfield Mall. On Jan. 23, at 10 p.m., a Woodbridge area woman, 27, was sitting on a bench inside the mall with an acquaintance when two men walked up. One of the suspects pulled out a handgun and demanded the woman's purse. One suspect grabbed the victim's purse and they ran away. The suspects were described as black and in their 20s. The armed suspect was described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. He wore a black knit hat and a blue jacket. The second suspect was described as 6 feet tall and weighing 170 pounds. He wore a long black jacket.
<cal1>EXPOSURE
<cal2>7300 block of Castleburg Court. A man exposed himself to a 25-year-old Alexandria area woman early on Jan. 23. About 1:45 a.m., the victim was awakened to a man knocking on the rear sliding glass door of her home. When the woman confronted him, he left. A few minutes later, she saw him again in the back yard, this time exposing himself. The man left the scene on foot in an unknown direction. The suspect was described as white, in his mid-20s and 5 feet, 8 inches tall. He wore a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

6700 block of Metropolitan Center Drive. Purse reported stolen.
