PricewaterhouseCoopers has signed a pre-lease for 160,025 square feet in McLean, launching the construction of a new Lerner Enterprises building scheduled for completion by 2005. Lerner will develop the Class A building at its Corporate Office Centre at Tysons II, a 5 million-square-foot, mixed-use project.

The PricewaterhouseCoopers' building becomes its regional headquarters at Galleria Drive and Tysons Boulevard in Tysons Corner.

Greg Holmes was the top producer and the top lister in the Tysons Central Long & Foster office during November. His sales volume was $1,740,000. Norberto Vignoli was the top seller, and Marilyn Jones was the agent with the most new listings.

In the Oakton office of Prudential Carruthers Realtors, Martha Warnickhe was the top sales agent, Eileen Gillis was top listing agent and Catherine Ly-Varner was top producer with highest settled business for the month of December. With $1,182,000 in volume, Warnickhe received the Million-in-a-Month Award.

Linda Thompson was the top producer and the top lister with a sales volume of $1,699,999 at Long & Foster's Tysons Central office for December. Carol Taylor was the top seller and Fran Kormann was the agent with the most new listings.

Patti Bostwick was the top producer, with a sales volume of $1,558,000, at the Vienna Long & Foster office for December. Janet Scaffido was the top lister; Peter DiGiovanni was the top seller; and Bostwick, Ellie Clark, Dorota Dyman, Debbie Earman, Anne Harrington, Betty Lewis, Susan Quinn, Scaffido, Anna-Marie Termini, Nancy Volpe, Bob Yeomans and Sarah Zimmerli were the agents with the most new listings.

David Werfel, a real estate associate with the Oakton office of Prudential Carruthers Realtors, has been awarded the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation by the Council of Residential Specialists, a nonprofit affiliate of the National Association of Realtors. Realtors who receive the designation have completed advanced courses and have "demonstrated professional expertise in the field of residential real estate."

Metrostar Realty, with offices in Rockville and Vienna, selected Charter One Mortgage Corp. as its partner in a joint venture to provide mortgage financing for the homes it sells. The new company is called Yilite Mortgage, LLC.

Roy Chung, vice president and Gaithersburg branch manager for Charter One Mortgage, manages the new joint venture.
