One house stood alone, though perhaps not anymore.
The residence at 2801 West Ox road is the only home in the Bradley Acres neighborhood north of West Ox Road that is currently assigned to Floris Elementary School, Carson Middle School and Westfield High School.
The rest of the neighborhood attends Fox Mill Elementary, Carson Middle School and Oakton High School.
If the School Board votes on Feb. 26 to adjust the boundary alignment, the adjustment will unite the one residence with the rest of the neighborhood.
The change impacts one elementary school student, according to Gary Chevalier, director of Facilities Planning Services, who briefed the School Board last Jan. 22 on proposed boundary changes. The student, according to Fairfax County Public School documents, already attends Fox Mill Elementary on pupil placement.
