<sh>Don't Swim in Lakes, RA Warns

<bt>Reston Association officials reminded residents last week that it is illegal to swim in Reston's lakes. Swimming is only permitted for a few property owners around Lake Anne and during sanctioned events, such as the upcoming Reston Triathalon. Several athletes have contacted RA over the last month to ask if they could train for the triathalon in the lakes, but RA officials said swimming in the lakes is trespassing. "We don't want people to get a fine and have to go through all the trouble that comes with it," said Karen Monaghan, RA's spokeswoman.
