The following incidents were reported by the Herndon Police Department:
ASSAULT
12900 block of Worldgate Drive. On June 14 at 10:54 a.m., a complainant reported he was choked by a co-worker. This case is active.
800 block of Ferndale Avenue. On June 14 at 2:22 p.m., the complainant reported an acquaintance hit him on the back with a fluorescent light tube. This case is active.
1000 block of Page Court. On June 18 at 11:07 p.m., a complainant reported an acquaintance punched her in the jaw and scratched her stomach. A warrant was obtained.
BURGLARY
400 block of Pickett Drive. On June 17 at 7 p.m., a video camera was removed from a residence.
LARCENY
900 block of Alabama Drive. On June 14 at 12:51 p.m., two juvenile females were observed removing a pack of Marlboro Lights from a business.
1100 block of Elden Street. On June 15 at 6:38 a.m., a subject left without paying for gas. This case is active.
Jonquil Lane/Elden Street. On June 15 at 7:30 a.m., a 5x10 trailer and tools were removed from a construction site.
800 block of Station Street. On June 15 at 9:50 a.m., a motor scooter was removed in front of a business.
400 block of Elden Street. On June 17 at 2:12 p.m., Bijan Nick Moradi, 23, of Reston, was arrested for shoplifting and released on a summons.
400 block of Elden Street. On June 18 at 9 a.m., Sarah Caitlin Sloan, 23, of Harrisonburg, was released on a summons for concealing merchandise.
700 block of Center Street. On June 19 at 1:49 p.m., an unsecured, red "Mountain Range" bicycle was taken from the rear of a business.
700 block of Elden Street. On June 19 at 6:29 p.m., a patron left without paying for his drink at a business.
Florida Ave./ Center Street. On June 19 at 10:21, Jose Neftali Gutierrez, 42, of Herndon, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC for larceny of auto parts.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY
1300 block of Icy Brook Drive. On June 15 at 9 a.m., a mailbox was uprooted from the ground.
400 block of Elden Street. On June 16 at 10:39 a.m., four lamps were damaged in a hotel room.
600 Dulles Park Court. On June 16 at 4:21 p.m., the trunk of a vehicle was damaged from someone walking on the trunk lid.
1000 block of Hidden Park Place. On June 17 at 7:45 a.m., two parked vehicles were scratched.
1200 block of Bond Street. On June 18 at 10 a.m., graffiti was written on a garbage can.
1300 block of Grant Street. On June 18 at 4:10 p.m., two tires on a vehicle were punctured.
1400 block of Bayshire Lane. On June 20 at 10:50 a.m., the driver's window was shattered on a parked vehicle.
OTHER VIOLATIONS
1200 block of Elden Street. On June 16 at 5:52 p.m., a fight occurred and a vehicle was damaged in the parking lot of a shopping center.
1200 block of Springtide Place. On June 18 at 2:21 a.m., a complainant reported an acquaintance was found sleeping in her house without permission. This case is inactive; prosecution declined.
700 block of Cordell Way. On June 20 at 2:23 a.m., Heidi Salazar, 18, of Herndon, was issued a summons for violation of the noise ordinance.
