Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage's Leesburg office set a sales volume record in May, the company reports. Fred Hetzel, branch vice president, said in a press release that the total number of sales in the office increased by 7.05 percent, total sales volume increased by 46.08 percent, and total listings increased by 5 percent in comparison to the same figures for May of 2003.

Rockville, Md.-based Opus East L.L.C. has entered the Northern Virginia commercial property market with its purchase of Dulles Woods, a 28-acre industrial park site one mile from the north gate of Dulles International Airport, on which it plans to develop a three-building complex to offer condominium and apartment units. Simultaneous construction of the three is set to begin in September of this year. Those buildings will be 62,400 square feet, 82,400 square feet and 103,400 square feet. The 62,400-square-foot and 103,400-square-foot structures will be marketed as industrial condominiums, while units in the 82,400-square-foot building will offered under traditional net lease terms.
