Explosive Performance has hired John Motley as marketing and sales director. Motley, a James Madison

University graduate, will also function as the lead trainer for the Herndon-based group that specializes in training athletes from the youth level to the professional ranks.

The Town of Herndon Department of Parks and Recreation is inviting local businesses and organizations to sponsor one of the concerts in the 2004 Summer Concert Series. This Weekly series which attracts an audience of approximately 7,000 over three months is held on Thursday evenings on the Town Green in historic downtown Herndon. Sponsors of the 2004 Summer Concert Series will receive publicity with their organization's name appearing in the community Center's summer brochure that is distributed to households in the greater Herndon area, as well as on promotional flyers and pocket guides. Sponsors will have the ability to choose the date they would like to sponsor on a first come, first served basis and receive special recognition at one concert designated to their organization. Celebrate St. Patrick's Day at The Dulles Embassy Suites, 13341 Woodland Park Drive in Herndon, on Thursday, March 18 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. for evening of Networking at the Herndon Dulles Chamber of Commerce's monthly Mixer. The March Breakfast of the Centreville-Chantilly Business Council and the Herndon Dulles Chamber of Commerce will be held on Thursday, March 25 from 7:30-9 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Select, located at 4335 Chantilly Shopping Center, Chantilly. The event includes a full breakfast, a presentation by guest speaker, Rick DeLisi, director of Corporate Communications, Independence Air. His topic will be the low-fare revolution in the airline industry. Bring at least 40 business cards to give away.
