Hoover Middle School held their annual International Night and “A Taste of Hoover” on March 18.
The event is a showcase for the many different cultures represented by the Hoover student body. Visitors were able to “visit” the different countries in the Hoover community. Families also bring in home-made dishes so everyone can sample the foods of different cultures.
The event also features cultural activities such as martial arts demonstrations, a Japanese tea ceremony, traditional Indian dancing, the Hoover Jazz Band and Chinese-style Penjing gardening.
