<lst>300 block of N. Argonne Avenue, Sterling. Some time between 7:45 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. on April 27, unknown subject(s) entered three residences. Two of the residences were possibly entered through a sliding glass door with the third being entered through a downstairs window. In the first house, the subject(s) removed items included clothing, jewelry, a video game system and video games, valued at $1,319. In the second house, the subject(s) removed cash and a laptop computer. In the third house, the subject(s) removed jewelry, valued at $1,800. The Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division is investigating the case.

22700 block of Courtland Park Drive, Broadlands. Some time between 4 p.m. on April 30 and 7:30 a.m. on May 3, unknown subject(s) entered the garage of a residence under construction and removed a refrigerator. Value was $1,810.

<lst>600 block of E. Poplar Avenue, Sterling. Some time between 11:30 p.m. on April 26 and 5:55 a.m. on April 27, unknown subject(s) damaged the driver side window of a vehicle and attempted to remove a car CD stereo. Value was $700.

1300 block of N. Amelia Street, Sterling. At 3:30 p.m. on April 27, unknown subject(s) removed the county street sign for N. Amelia Street and W. Frederick Drive. Value was $200.

20180 block of Carthegena Court, Ashburn. Some time between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. on April 28, unknown subject(s) scratched the hood of a vehicle. Value was $200.

45400 block of Caboose Terrace, Sterling. Some time between 11 p.m. on May 2 and 5 a.m. on May 3, unknown subject(s) damaged windows on six vehicles that were parked on the listed road. Value was $2,100.

24200 block of Longshadow Lane, Aldie. Some time between 5 p.m. on May 1 and 7 a.m. on May 2, unknown subject(s) shot a bb pellet at a home under construction damaging a window. Value was $474.

<cal1>Forcible Fondling

<lst>180 block of N. Cottage Road, Sterling. Some time between 7:15 p.m. and 7:25 p.m. on May 2, a deputy on routine patrol heard a female scream for help. The deputy observed a 17-year-old Sterling female who alleged an unknown male had approached her and had made inappropriate contact with her. After the incident several other teenage witnesses attempted to help the victim walk away from the suspect who continued to grab her. The suspect was located and identified as Mauricio Alberto Sorto, 40, of Sterling. He has been charged with sexual battery and is being held without bond.

<lst>900 block of E. Williamsburg Road, Sterling. Some time between 9 p.m. on April 29 and 6:30 a.m. on April 30, unknown subject(s) removed a bicycle from outside a residence. Value was $229.

<lst>Mirror Ridge Drive, Sterling. Some time between 4 p.m. on April 20 and 12:15 p.m. on April 21, unknown subject(s) removed a 1997 blue Honda Civic that was parked along the listed roadway. Value was $16,000.

20300 block of Beechwood Terrace, Ashburn. Some time between 5:30 p.m. on April 21 and 10 a.m. on April 22, unknown subject(s) removed a 1998 Acura silver Integra that was parked in the parking lot of an apartment complex. Value was $5,000.

<lst>46900 block of Community Plaza, Sterling. At 5:50 p.m. on April 26, a 42-year-old Great Falls woman says she believed her purse was removed while shopping inside the Clock Tower Thrift Store. The purse and its contents were not located.

<lst>Bourne Terrace/Fieldgrass Square, Ashburn. Some time between 8 p.m. on April 21 and 2:45 a.m. on April 22, unknown subject(s) entered a vehicle and removed a stereo, a sub woofer and various CD's. Value was $1,300.

Greenthorn/Mayfield, Sterling. Some time between 11 p.m. on April 19 and 8 a.m. on April 20, unknown subject(s) entered a vehicle and removed a car CD stereo, a camera, various CD's, and tools. Value was $3,950.

200 block of Nutmeg Court, Sterling. Some time between 11 p.m. on April 23 and 7 a.m. on April 24, unknown subject(s) entered a vehicle and removed a pair of sunglasses. The soft-top to the vehicle was damaged in the incident. Value was $550.

<cal1>Weapons Law Violation

<lst>44100 block of Ashburn Shopping Plaza, Ashburn. At 11:45 p.m. on April 22, Bruce Charles Woodland, 47, of Herndon was arrested for alleged drunk in public, disorderly conduct, carrying a concealed weapon and simple assault. The arrest stems from an altercation that occurred inside the Ashburn Pub between Woodland and a 30-year-old Fairfax man. Woodland was being held at the Adult Detention Center.
