Families moved to the beat of different drummers at the first ever International Festival at Van Dyck Park in Fairfax. Sponsored by Spotlight on the Arts, the May 1 event featured music, story and dance from Eastern Europe to India to Africa. Festival goers also learned about other world cultures through children's games, activities and crafts.
