The Potomac Bridle and Hiking Trails Association will hold their annual horse show at Callithea Farm on May 29. This is the association’s main fundraiser of the year. Proceeds go toward trail maintenance.
The trails need a lot of help this year, said Elaine Jones, and member of the board of the Association. After last year’s storms, the trails have been severely eroded, Jones said. “We’ve had a tremendous amount of flooding and a lot of trees down,” she said.
Entrance to the show is free for spectators. There is a $10 fee to enter in one of the competitions. Refreshments will also be for sale during the show.
