Help Wanted

<bt>The Herndon Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating the following two suspects in regard to a malicious wounding that occurred May 7. Through the help of witnesses, investigators were able to identify the suspects and issue warrants in connection with this crime.

Suspect 1: Shalamar D. Dade, a 20-year-old black male of no fixed address. Dark complexion, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 125 pounds. Warrants are on file for attempted robbery, malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and convicted felon in possession of a firearm.

Suspect 2: Eugene Alexander Jones, a 19-year-old black male of Herndon. Light complexion, 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 180 pounds. Warrant is on file for attempted robbery.

<sh>Peeping Tom Caught

<bt>A Herndon man was arrested for peeping into a home in the 2400 block of Brook Overlook Court also in the Herndon area. According to Fairfax County Police, on May 11 at 10:20 p.m., a 25-year-old Herndon-area man was walking when he saw another man looking into the window of an apartment. The suspect was also allegedly exposing himself. The 25-year-old man shouted for help and held the man down. The 39-year-old male resident of the apartment into which the suspect was peeping heard the commotion and climbed out of the window to assist with holding the suspect until police arrived.

The suspect was identified as Alexander Rivera, 19, of Dulles Park Court in Herndon. Warrants were obtained, charging him with peeping into an occupied dwelling and indecent exposure. He was arrested and taken to the Adult Detention Center, where he was held in lieu of a $2,000 bond.
