The following incidents were reported by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY/WEAPONS LAW VIOLATION:

43900 block of Tavern Road, Ashburn. Between 8 and 10:30 p.m. May 15, unknown subject(s) discharged a bb projectile at a vehicle, damaging a driver side rear window. Value was $800.

HATE CRIME/DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY:

13500 block of Wilt Store Road, Leesburg. On May 17, a homeowner discovered a spraypainted racial slur on a fence. The homeowner reported that the graffiti could have been there as long as two years.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY:

43200 block of Beacon Tree Terr., Ashburn. Between May 3 and May 14, unknown subject(s) spray painted possible gang-related graffiti on a home under construction.

1300 block of N. Argonne Ave., Sterling. Between 10 p.m. May 11 and 6 a.m. May 12, unknown subject(s) damaged the driver side window of a vehicle that was parked along the roadway. Damage was valued at $200.

25500 block of Upper Clubhouse Dr., South Riding. Between 9 p.m. May 11 and 8:30 a.m. May 12, Unknown subject(s) squirted glue on the exterior of a home including the front door, garage door and windows. Damage was valued at $800.

3300 block of Coton Commons Dr., Lansdowne. Between 5 a.m. May 13 and 7 a.m. May 17, the covers to three air conditioning units of a building. were damaged. Damage was assessed at $1000.

Postrail Sq. & Crossroads Dr., Ashburn. Between 7 p.m. May 14 and 10:30 a.m. May 15, unknown subject(s) damaged the passenger side windows of two vehicles. Value was $200.

60 block of Sugarland Run Dr., Sterling. between 9 p.m. May 14 and 7:30 a.m. May 17, unknown subject(s) damaged a window to a trailer classroom. The damage was valued at $300.

20030 block of Colts Foot Tr., Ashburn. Between 12 and 4:25 a.m. May 15, unknown subject(s) damaged the rear window of a vehicle. Damage was valued $400.

100 block of N. Hickory Rd., Sterling. Between 5:30 and 11:459 p.m. May 15, unknown subject(s) damaged a driver side window of a vehicle. Damage was valued at $200.

100 block of W. Ivy Ave. , Sterling. Between 8 p.m. May 15 and 6 a.m. May 16, unknown subject(s) damaged the front and rear driver side windows of a vehicle. Value was $500.

400 N. Fillmore Ave., 120 N. Aspen Ave., and E. Beech Rd. Sterling. On May 15 and 16, windows of four vehicles were damaged in the area of the listed locations. Total damage was $600.

447000 block of Old Ox Rd., Sterling. At 4:37 a.m. May 18, a deputy on routine patrol discovered possible gang-related graffiti spray painted on the outside wall of a business. Value was $150.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT:

300 block of Marcum Ct., Sterling. Between 7 p.m. May 11 and 6:24 a.m. May 12, a blue 1999 Mitsubishi Montero was stolen from a parking lot near a residence. The car was valued at $30,100.

20000 block of Colts Foot Tr., Ashburn. Between 10 p.m. May 13 and 10:05 a.m. May 14, Unknown subject(s) removed a black 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier from the parking lot of an apartment complex. The car was worth $8,000.

ATTEMPTED BREAKING & ENTERING:

60 block of Sugarland Run Dr., Sterling. Between 9 p.m. May 12 and 8:15 a.m. May 13, unknown subject(s) attempted to enter a shed on the property of Sugarland Run Elementary School. No entry was gained but a lock and window were damaged in the incident. Damage was assessed at $325.

BURGLARY:

43300 block of Hyland Hills St., South Riding. Between May 12 and May 15, unknown subject(s) entered an open garage and removed three sets of golf clubs., worth $2,360.

39000 block of Householder Rd., Lovettsville. Between 5 and 9 p.m. May 15, unknown subject(s) entered a residence and removed several firearms, a knife and some loose change. Loss was valued at $4,660.

THEFT FROM A MOTOR VEHICLE:

45400 block of Heritage Sq., Sterling. Between 8 p.m. May 16 and 8 a.m. May 17, unknown subject(s) entered a vehicle and removed a CD car stereo and a bass tube. The loss was assessed at $400.

CONSTRUCTION ACCIDENT:

19670 block, Olympic Club Ct., Ashburn. At about 11:35 a.m. May 17, Israel Cabrera, 29, of Woodbridge fell to the ground while working on the second floor above a garage. Cabrera was airlifted to Inova Fairfax Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
