Three Men Carjack City Man

Alexandria city police are investigating a carjacking that occurred in the 700 block of South Patrick Street on Monday at approximately 12:30 a.m.

Police said the victim, a 22-year-old male city resident, was leaving a nearby gas station when he was flagged down by two men. The men requested assistance with their car, and the victim assisted by driving them to a nearby store to purchase items needed to repair a flat tire. When he drove the two men back to their car, a third suspect appeared and all three men began to change the flat tire.

Within moments, the first two men produced handguns and the three suspects entered the victim’s car, a 1996 purple four-door Ford Taurus, and drove away. The suspects left their car, a Dodge Neon, which was later determined to have been stolen in Prince George’s County. The victim went to a nearby house and called police.

The suspects were described as black males and between 18-20 years old. The first suspect was approximately 5-feet, 10-inches tall, 155-160 pounds and was wearing a red shirt and blue jeans. The second suspect was approximately 5-feet, 7-inches tall, 135-140 pounds and was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. The third suspect was approximately 5-feet, 10-inches tall, 160 pounds and was wearing a black shirt.
